Bridal Luncheon at the Club

Somewear: Summer Wedding in the Southern Heat!

 

Like many of us this summer, my girlfriend, Stephanie, will be attending an outdoor summer wedding.  It’s always a tricky sitch, because you want to look nice and classy, while at the same time wearing as little as possible.  I mean, no one appreciates a girl with pit stains and dripping wet hair.  So, how do you avoid this in the 110 degree temperatures of the southern sun?  Well, you just can’t, BUT you can try your hardest to prevent it by wearing a loose fitting dress with easy breeze access, tossing your hair up into an effortless up-do while at the same time showing off some killer earrings, and most importantly- by packing a portable electric mini fan in your clutch!  Oh, aren't weddings blissful!

Somewear: Ann Arbor Wedding (AKA College Reunion)

My girlfriend, Amanda, will be spending this holiday weekend attending a wedding on the grounds of her old college campus, the University of Michigan.  Who will be present?  Herself, as well as every other Fighting Wolverine from her graduating class.  So, of course, she must dress the occasion and show a little school spirit in a true U of M blue statement dress.  No necklace needed with all the embellishments at the top, but I suggest she wear her hair up to feature the bright multi-colored earrings and her coral lips!

Somewear: Wine Country Wedding
