What to Wear When: You Wanna Play Hard Ball

I don’t know what it is lately, but I’ve been in the mood to kick some ass and take some names.  Sometimes all you need is the right look to make the hard sell (or maybe you just need the confidence IN the right look).  Regardless, if I was wearing this number I’d be negotiating my face off with whoever wanted to listen.  No, no, but really- I would.

Where to Wear: Pretty Pastels

I get it.  You’re not into that syrupy sweet, cute as a bunny, bright as an Easter egg look.  You’re afraid your take on the muted hues will come across as a “Paint by Number” experiment gone wrong, but it’s just not the case- not this season, anyway.  Now is the time to accessorize with the paler colors or even go head to toe in them.  Here’s where I think you can go wearing some of this spring’s softer shades!

Our hotel in Turks is hosting a BBQ on the beach tonight.  I can’t think of a better look than one with a mix of corals and blues, seashell accessories, and a raffia clutch.  This ensemb screams “summer in the sand”!
