Somewear: Back in the Classroom

My whole fam is starting back to school today: mom, dad, sis, bro-in-law, and aunt.  Basically, I’m the odd ball out here!  And though I haven’t been in the classroom since college, I can provide my family (at least the ladies) with an A+ outfit that will get them through the first day of school!  Shift dresses and low wedges are not only adorable classroom appropriate pieces, but they are comfortable at the same time which I know is key!  Happy first day back!

If you are in the Dallas area, I highly encourage you to come support me on Thursday from 6:30-8:30PM at Tootsies.  There will be a DJ playing sweet tunes, some festive cocktails, and a mini runway show of all the blogger’s chosen looks, and of course, more voting!  I will be there sporting my fun beachy Alexis maxi dress and super fun accessories (Check out the accessories up-close HERE.)  Maybe you could be there wearing this adorable number or just run by Tootsies before the event and pick something up.  They’re having a fab sale!

Somewear: Kentucky Derby

A couple of my readers have requested a Kentucky Derby outfit.  Some ladies will be attending while others attending a derby themed party.  Nothing screams “I’m sittin’ pretty” more than a white dress.  Pair it with bright spring colors and you’re off to the races!

Bridal Luncheon at the Club

Summer wedding madness is almost at an end, but many of my friends including me, still have one more to go.  I’ll be attending a bridal luncheon soon at the end of the month and I couldn’t imagine wearing anything else.  It’s demure and girly and adorable.  I mean, it pretty much sums up everything a bridal luncheon is to me.
