Somewear: Casa Mila Rooftop in Barcelona

My girlfriend will be traveling to Spain in April, so over the next couple of weeks I’m going to create a few looks for her trip!  One spot in Barcelona that she can’t miss is architect Antoni Gaudi’s famous building, Casa Mila.  The entire structure is exquisite, but the architecture and artistry on the rooftop is my absolute favorite part.  I’d suggest taking a cardi incase it’s cold in the morning, then warms up in the afternoon.  A low wedge and sunnies are also perfect for this type of sightseeing day!

Halloween Wear: Joan Holloway

I love Joanie and I am counting down the days until Mad Men returns!  Until then, I will just have to get by with a little Halloween dress-up.  If you will be doing the same, then I suggest a tight red dress with simple, yet classy accessories.  And don’t forget your 60’s style up-do!

Rebecca Minkoff Show to US Open Men’s Finals

In a dream world, I would be able to attend both of these events today.  And since this is my fantasy, the cost of this entire number goes out the window.  I think it’s nice when attending shows to wear the designer.  This is chic enough for the RM show, but comfy and casual enough to take me straight to the Nadal/Djokovic match!

Sightseeing in Barcelona

My girlfriend, Mia, is traveling to Spain next week and will be exploring the beautiful city of Barcelona.  Having just been there a few years ago, all the historic landmarks and tourist hot spots are still fresh in my mind.  From Picasso to Gaudi, the city is filled with vibrant colors and grandiose architecture.  To look good in this city, she must stay the course by dressing the part: bold prints, interesting shapes, and bright colors.  This look not only hits the mark, but it easily transitions from day to night with just the slight add of a great pair of wedges and red lipstick.
