Somewear: Lake House on Memorial Day

Coming back to reality after an amazing vaca can be quite the buzz kill, but thankfully Memorial Day is just a few days away, so let the vacas live on!

Somewear: The In-Laws’ Lake House at Sunset

Though I won’t be visiting my in-laws’ place this weekend, I will be joining my sis and dining with her new in-laws.  I love this ensem, because it’s the perfect mix of “casual elegance.”  Rompers can be dressed up or down, but I’ve styled this one right in between by pairing a basic flat with dreamy geode goodness.

Somewear: Patriotic Picnic in the Park

This is all kinds of fun and festive for the upcoming holiday weekend.  I would tuck in the top to
really show off the adorable pleated shorts.  And the retro red sunnies tie the whole look together!

    Somewear: Party on the Pier

This look goes out to all my southern ladies who would never be seen donning anything but
their Sunday best.  It’s finally time to show off your eyelet white dress, strappy stilettos, and your
favorite shades of blue: summer is almost here!

    Somewear: Lakeside Dinner with Friends

As Memorial Day quickly approaches, I can’t help but think of the fun festivities that will be
going on all across America.  This spot seems like somewhere I’d love to be; it’s simple, but
sublime.  The teals, earthy tones, and stones on the shoes are all reminiscent of the lake.  And I
couldn’t resist how perfectly these earrings matched the Moroccon inspired motif of the romper!
Bring out the beautiful purples in the print with a pop of color to the nails.  My sis and I both
love the one bangle look, so why not finish it off with this one, appropriately called “Make
    Waves."

Somewear: Cabanas with Cocktails (Or Mandalay Bay on Memorial Day)

My girlfriend, Sarah, has put me to my first task: a fab, yet affordable* “Memorial
Day moment” for her trip to Vegas.  This dress is meant to be seen poolside with piƱa colada in hand and when you get too toasty under the Sin City sun, this goddess-like dress magically transforms into a skirt.  Which is perfect for baring your patriotic striped bikini that’s hidden underneath!
