Somewear: Beating The Heat

Well, I’m somewhat surviving the bike ride.  My legs sort of feel like jelly and I have two more days to go, so who knows if I’ll actually see the finish line. I’m finally in Florence!  This is the place I’ve been dreaming about for months!  Today I’ll be walking from piazza to piazza from bridge to bridge from early morning to late at night just so I can cram it all in!  We are staying at the Hotel Degli Orafi right on the river very near the Ponte Vecchio where I hear there’s some interesting shopping to be had.  Can’t wait!

Helen Ficalora Store Opening

Somewear: Les Miserables at the Winspear Opera House

I’m going to see Les Mis tonight and I can’t wait!  The music is amazing and I haven’t seen the show in years, PLUS, one of my friends is in the touring company.  I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, you should always dress up for the theatre. My girlfriend called last night about what to wear to her baby shower that her college friends are throwing for her.  Since she is adopting, she doesn’t have to worry about finding cute maternity clothes.  With it being a couples shower held at her friend’s home, I told her she doesn’t need to go too dressy.  Wearing a cute top, skinny pants, and boots would be perfect.  She is not a super girly dresser, so I went with a nice mix of feminine and masculine.  I love the frilly lace top mixed with the riding boots and cross-body bag.

Texas Rodeo
