Somewear: Sail to Sable!

My girlfriend who used to work at Lucky mag with me just started a new business called Sail to Sable. Raised by the water in Darien, Connecticut, she grew up visiting the beaches down the East Coast which is perfect, because Sail to Sable refers to the Easternmost and Southernmost spots on the Eastern Seaboard: Sail Rock, Maine and Cape Sable, Florida. Her collection includes tunics, placemats, napkins and pillows- all can be mixed and matched and are perfect for summer!  This adorable tunic (along with “Lively Lime”) are all on sale now in celebration of the holiday.  Just enter JULY4 at checkout!  Now, go shopping and have a safe and happy 4th!!

Somewear: Switzerland Mountain Farm

Not sure what kind of “farming” is done on this mountainous wonderland, but I want to go to there.  Not to be a farmhand, obviously, but perhaps to just picnic nearby, eating Swiss cheese and chocolate.

Somewear: Pop-Up Baby Shower at The Ivy

My girlfriend, Libby, is throwing a surprise baby shower at a brunch
today with her girlfriends in LA.  Though I won’t be there, this is
what I imagine she’ll be wearing when she dines alfresco within the
white picket fences and oversized umbrellas of the ever-popular Ivy
restaurant.  It needed to be a laid-back ensemble; it is LA after all.
And short shorts are Libby’s casual go-to.  I love the pop of bright
pink mixed into an otherwise pale colored palette and the lace and
bow accents are just an understated reminder that a baby is on the
way!  What’s hidden inside the oversized tote: balloons, confetti, and
special treats for the mom-to-be.  What a divine look for such a sweet
celebration and not a bad way to meet The Divine either.  Who
knows- he may be seated next to them right now!  (The Ivy’s just that
good).
