The Office Is Freezing, but you Need to Wear a Dress

I feel like every office in America has this problem.  It’s always freezing- even in the winter!  I like this, because it keeps you warm, but it’s still cute and feminine.  Always have some scarves at your desk; they’re great for layering!  And this lip balm is fab, because it helps with super dry lips (yet another effect from staying in the office for too long).

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

It is the first day of fashion week!  I can’t wait to see what is in store for us for Spring 2012!  To me, fall’s fashion week is the first time to really sport the trends of the season. Touring the University in Lausanne, Switzerland

‘Tis the season for end of summer travel.  My girlfriend will be visiting Lausanne and touring the University there.  The weather can be cooler this time of year, so it is important to dress in layers.  I like this outfit for her, because it’s somewhat scholarly, yet comfortable enough to last her all day.

Somewear: Sixtieth Birthday Bash at The Chalkboard

My mother-in-law is turning 60 this weekend and we are throwing a little soirée for her at The Chalkboard in Tulsa.  This woman always looks fabulous, and her outfit for the party on Sunday will be no exception.  I love this sixties inspired shift for her.  It’s a tribute to her past while still being current.  Also, the accessories are perfect, because they play-up the graphic prints on the dress!  Can’t wait to see what she ends up with.  Whatever it is, I know she will look so sexy for her 60!
