Somewear: Metropolitan Opera

My girlfriend is going to the Met Opera this week and she needs a glam outfit. The opera is one of those places where you can never be too dressed up, and since it’s the holiday season, I say she should go for full sparkle and glitz!

Somewear: Pizza Parlor Opening

My girlfriend’s husband is opening a wood-fired pizza restaurant in St. Louis, Missouri this week.  It’s a pizza place with a grown-up sophistication, so she needs to wear something nice, but not super fancy.  This look is fun, festive, and perfect for a celebration.  The pattern on the dress and the shape of the accessories almost remind me of a burning fire or flickering flame.  Kind of fitting for this type of occasion, right?  If you happen to live in the area, you should definitely check this place out.  I’m sure it’s delicious! Somewear: Ann Arbor Wedding (AKA College Reunion)

My girlfriend, Amanda, will be spending this holiday weekend attending a wedding on the grounds of her old college campus, the University of Michigan.  Who will be present?  Herself, as well as every other Fighting Wolverine from her graduating class.  So, of course, she must dress the occasion and show a little school spirit in a true U of M blue statement dress.  No necklace needed with all the embellishments at the top, but I suggest she wear her hair up to feature the bright multi-colored earrings and her coral lips!

Somewear: Birthday Party Picnic

So, you’re a little overdressed to really frolic in the park, but listen-
you’re the birthday girl, so dressing down is out of the question.  But
you’re not completely impractical: a hat for the shade and flats for
the grass.  Plus, I’m sure you’ll be offered the VIP luggage seats,
anyway.
