Beach Volleyball Court

I don’t know about you, but watching the US ladies kill it for gold and silver last night made me want to bump, dig, spike, and dive my way to victory!  Long story short: I’ve joined a vball league.  That’s right.  Rio- watch out, because I’m headed your way!

Somewear: Free Wheel Bike Ride

This Sunday I will be hopping on my bike and starting my 4 day trek across the rolling hills of Oklahoma. Free Wheel is an annual ride that starts at the bottom of Oklahoma near the Texas border and ends at the top near the Kansas border.  My dad has ridden it every year for the past 13 years or so.  I have always wanted to join him, but have never had the time until now!  It’s actually an 8 day ride, but I’m only attempting half for fear I might not survive it.  It’s about 70-75 miles a day and did I mention there’s camping?  Yeah- pretty sure I haven’t been in a tent since I was 7, but I’m bringing my queen size extra cushion top blow-up master, so I’m hoping it will suffice.  Wish me luck!  I’m gonna need it!

Somewear: Courtside Seats to the NBA Finals

I’ve always been a Mavs fan, but having never really lived in Dallas I never had a reason to buy any Mavericks paraphernalia.  Now that I live here, though, I wonder if asked tonight to attend The Finals game, what outfit would I scramble to put together.  A blue romper and sporty Sperry’s befitting of the team’s colors, a temporary Mavs tattoo which I would proudly display on my cheek, a good luck ring in honor of Champ- the mascot horse, and of course, a hat which would have to be one of those last minute onsite purchases.  Ok, now who’s going to ask me to the game?

Somewear: Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

A few people I know are attending this match on Sunday in New York.
Though in the UK, hats aren’t worn during traditional polo matches,
in the US it’s more than ok; it’s practically required.  It’s all about
looking leisurely and pristine, so carry with you a lightweight scarf even
if you won’t need it.  You can dangle it behind you which will give you
an even more carefree appearance.  And, of course, do your
research ladies: Marc Jacobs is one of the co-hosts, so dress to impress!

Somewear: Roland Garros

I might not know how to speak French or play tennis, but I know how to dress you très chic for the tennis finals at the French Open.  To me, nothing is sexier than a cream monochromatic color scheme in the summertime.  In the outfit, you’ll look super sultry fanning yourself under your fedora and frames.  And who knows- perhaps you’ll catch the eye of Mr. Nadal himself!  (I mean, you are in the City of Love, after all.)
